CBSE Director RJ Khanderao said 12th results will be released after May 20 and 10th results after May 25,”

Previous year CBSE Result dates:

For XII 
In 2011, CBSE Result were declared on 23 May for 7 regions of CBSE and for the 1 region it was declared on 27 May 2011.
In 2010, CBSE Results XII were declared in two phases one on 19 May 2010 and second phase on 21 May 2010.

For X
In 2011, CBSE Result were declared in 5 Phases starting 31st May and the last region for CBSE Result was declared on 10 June.
In 2010, CBSE Result was declared in single phase on 28 May 2010.

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) conducted the final board exams for class 10th and 12th students across the country. There were lakhs of students who appeared for class 10th and 12th board exam. The students are now waiting for their final exam result. CBSE has not given any update regarding this till now. The result is supposed to be declared in the month of June.

The CBSE was given its present name ‘Central Board of Secondary Education’ in the year 1952. The Board was reconstituted in the year 1962 when its jurisdiction was extended. Educations being a subject on the concurrent list of Indian constitution – most of the states also have their own educational boards with different curriculum.

Student protest in Montreal against rising tuition

Several thousand people demonstrated on Thursday night in the streets of Montreal to call the government to negotiate with students opposing the increase of tuition fees, according to an AFP journalist.

Young people leading the way, which took place peacefully for more than three hours in the rain, wearing a large black banner declaring “Negotiated Ostia!” (This last word is a curse born Quebec religious roughly corresponding to “Damn!”).

This slogan referred to the Quebec government’s decision to refuse to negotiate with the CLASS, one of the three major student organizations, accusing them of not observing a “truce” requested by the Education Minister Line Beauchamp.

Slogans chanted by the marchers also aimed directly Jean Charest, Premier of Quebec.
