Bachelot announcement of wrong numbers on smoking

The Health Minister Roselyne Bachelot said Monday “bad numbers” on tobacco, saying it had “increased by 2 points” according to the latest health barometer of the Institute for Prevention and Health Education (INPE).
The minister explained this increase by “double effect”: the increase in consumption among women, but also a “crisis effect.
Almost 50% of the unemployed are smokers and obviously the crisis, rising unemployment.
